Learn Spanish and Travel Anywhere You Want To (Part II)
North America
In the US the figures for Spanish speakers are huge in some parts of the country. In fact, overall it is believed that over 37 million speak it at home, making it second only to English in popularity. Canada also has strong links with the language and you shouldn’t be surprised if you hear it being spoken anywhere you go in the country. Finally, if you want to immerse yourself in it then all you need to do is practice your Spanish taking classes in Miami!
Asia
The number of students of the Spanish language in Asia has grown incredibly in recent years. The continent is one of the places which are helping fuel the current explosion in Spanish and a few statistics can help us see how popular it has become. In Japan, for example, there are more than 2,000 schools that teach it, yet in Asia more than 70% of applications to study the language are turned down because the number of teachers there can’t cope with the demand. Maybe you should study with Language Trainers before you go to Asia.
Australia
One place in the world you might not expect to hear Spanish being spoken widely is Australia. After all, this country is so far from Spain that it seems unlikely to be a popular tongue there. However, there are almost 60,000 Australians of Spanish descent, as well as those with Latin American ancestry. Add in the fact that it is an increasingly common choice with language students and you can see that your chances to having a conversation in Spanish here are bigger than you might have thought.
